okay, so this bag is supposed to hold brushes, well, they are too long to fit in there, because the bag closes at the top
and it has a zipper pocket for makeup, but its too small lol

You might be able to put like chapstick in it, eyeline, tissues, maybe some of the female variety of items. It's a very nice bag. I am sure that you will be able to find a reason to use it. You might even be able to put some time of compact mirror and a foundation!. You never know when you might need those sort of things. Also you could use it as a Cell Phone Case, it could hold cards, notes that you don't want to forget , grocerey lists, money, nail polish, and all that good small stuff!
Ohh and now that I look at it. It means the make up brushes, not the hair brushes ! I just realized that, sorry if you already knew.
