What is the best way to repair torn leather or fake?
I have chocolate brown ottoman that has a small tear at the top thereof. Not sure if it's real or fake leather, but I wanted to know what the best way to repair the tear is. Since the break is at the top the ottoman, it is important to mend so that people can sit on the ottoman and set foot on it, without causing further damage. The tear is about 1 inch is a clean cut, it seems that was damaged when it was pierced by a knife or something. I would like to repair myself if possible.
first , to determine if you have leather or vinyl, or micro fiber (looks like leather, but in reality is the fabric) the business of determining which product you have, determines what type glue or adhesive is needed to make the repair. You still have a slight ripples throughout the area, but the hole is closed now and prevent further tear if you can do these type repairs. Every method I described is very easy, and yes, you can do yourself.
