louis vuitton bag question!!!?
ok, i have this friend at school who went to a "purse party" and got a louis vuitton bag for only $60. Its obviously real, since it came with a dustbag, a serial number, it looks real (the sides look like real leather), and she bought it from someone who told her in person what the retail price was. But, there is also another girl at school who has a louis vuitton bag and says her dad brought it back from CHINA!!!! It looks somewhat real, but is very stiff and looks kind of plastic. Also, the inside of her purse is not leather, but a furry material. I can understand why her dad would travel to China (i know the company he works for), but I am confused as to why he wouldn't just go to the boutique (we live near a major city that has one) rather than deciding that since he's in China, he'll buy one now. Doesn't that sound like it could be a fake? someone please give me their opinion. 
Well the first bag from the purse party is definitely fake. No real Louis Vuitton bag is sold for less than it's retail. (unless by an authorized reseller like the people from MyPoupette.) Louis Vuitton doesn't do wholesale and their bags never go on sale. So the purse party one is fake. Just because it comes with dust cover and number doesn't mean it's authentic. And it's a "date code" not serial number. If it is possible try and get the date code some fakes are usually off by a long shot and making authentic date codes.
The one from China sounds fake. But they do have LV Boutiques in China. And for the lady who says all the expensive ones are made in the USA. Your wrong the LV products are made in Franca, Spain, USA, and one other place that I forgot. But it being stiff and not looking so authentic than it is probably fake. Watch the bag and wallet for a while within a month or so (if they are fake, which they are) they will start to fall apart. Stitching will fall apart and the so called leather on the handles will start to peel.
