is not the one with the purple cover and then the one with the white and lady on the cover, does it matter, the purple has fewer pages, why is that? a copy of which you think I buy?
Really old books which are considered classics sometimes come in "short" versions which means to cut some parts of the original, which is why some issues have fewer pages. Always try to get the "full version" because one closer to the original writing of the author and do not forget to choose the best translator if original book was written in another language. Some translations are pretty bad, so. Do more research on google ... go to wikipedia even.
