How come some of the "FUR IS MURDER" people do not wear fur but continue to wear leather?
This thought just came to me as I was looking through a magazine with pictures of different issues going on. One of them was a lady wearing all leather, mad as can be, standing on top of fur saying "FUR IS MURDER"... you still need animal skin to make leather, so how come these people boycott fur but not leather. Most shoes are made from leather, but they continue to wear them. Shoes from cow skin, snake skin, etc. Just curious...
Some people believe it is okay to use the hide from cows that have already been used for their meat. They see killing animals solely to use their hide for us to wear as barbaric.
