How do I get rid of strong 'camel' smell the leather bag with my back?
I bought a leather bag made in Camel Messenger India, and has a very strong 'camel' smell. (Especially smells like cow shit) It was suggested that I try to use mink oil on my bag, but only cut the smell of a couple of days by 30% at present still smells the same again. It was also suggested that the air, as it was sent from India in a box and its still summer here. Has been handed out for a week and a half now. Is there anything I can do or will only dissipate with use? PS ... I love this bag! I tried quitting in a box of coffee beans for days. Also the idea of fabric softener for a couple of years. I'll see if I can find none of odors? In some place.
Do you have a product called No odor? It neutralizes odors. You can clean over his bag and the smell disappeared. Can be found at supermarkets in the cleaning aisle. If not you try a skin cleanser with lemon oil. The air bag as it can, but not in the sun.
